Introduction to  animation

animation production process:

Model assets (including character model, prop model, scene model, etc.), scripts, split shots, animations, scene editing, Layout, blueprints, special effects, music, sound effects, and post-production.

What customers need to know when sourcing out animation:

1. We need to know the general requirements of the  animation that customers need to make, such as whether there are specific script requirements documents, whether there are references to the benchmark works, what kind of style of  animation to make, what engine and corresponding engine version are required to make, and how long the overall duration of  animation is.

2. What processes do we need to do (communicate about the first  animation production process)

3. What assets will customers provide? Generally, customers will provide assets related to their own IP, such as model assets, scripts, videos, music and sound effects. If there are any assets that customers don't provide and need us to do, we need to know whether we must customize them or we can buy or use our own assets directly as long as they don't infringe. There are several points to pay attention to in this link:

3.1 If the customer provides model assets, does it include binding and calculation? If not, do we need to make relevant production?

3.2 If the model assets provided by the customer are not accurate enough, do we need to make relevant fine adjustment?

3.3 If the customer doesn't provide music and sound effects and needs us to make music sound effects, do you need famous orchestras or dubbing producers to make relevant productions?

After the above contents are clearly communicated with customers, we can make relevant price and schedule evaluation.
